If you are dreading the season of love & light, you are in good, grief-full company. I’m hosting a virtual, pay-what-you-can grief circle & vigil for the Winter Solstice on December 21st. This is a great opportunity to connect with a small group of people and achieve some co-regulation around your holiday grief. Our previous grief circle, held at Delight Flower Farm in October, quickly reached its max number of participants. Attendees left the experience feeling “seen, validated, hopeful, and recharged” and enjoyed “community and comfort from complete strangers”. We’ll tend the threshold together and hold space for each other and our grief. Featuring poetry, candle lighting, musical offerings, and ritual honoring of collective losses and personal loves. Donations to this event will benefit Seeding Sovereignty, an organization committed to mental health and wellness, dismantling systems of oppression, and reclaiming our lands, languages, ways of knowing, and stewardship of our waterways and natural resources.
